The Category Five Community Impact Initiative improves public spaces by providing hydration and restroom solutions that promote health, sustainability, and dignity, at no cost to the recipient.
About the Initiative
Category Five Technologies is a family-owned distributor of commercial hydration and restroom products. We believe every school, library, park, and community center deserves access to modern, hygienic facilities, regardless of budget.
Launched in 2026, the Community Impact Initiative is entirely self-funded by our company. We use our own inventory and purchasing power to donate products to organizations that need them most. Recipients are responsible for arranging and managing installation at their facility. This is not a manufacturer program. It is our commitment to the communities we serve.

Our Process
Community members nominate a school, nonprofit, or public facility through our online form. Nominations are accepted through October of each year.
In October and November, our team reviews all nominations and selects finalists who are invited to submit a full application.
Between November and January, we evaluate full applications and select one recipient per grant program: one winner for the Refresh Hydration Grant and one for the Renew Restrooms Grant.
February through July, we work directly with each recipient to finalize product selection and coordinate delivery. Recipients are responsible for arranging and managing installation at their facility.
We document the transformation with meaningful content to showcase the real-world impact on the community, then prepare to do it all again the following year.
Our Commitment
We believe that clean water access and dignified restroom facilities are not luxuries. They are necessities. The Community Impact Initiative is our way of putting that belief into action, one space at a time.
